How it started

From a young age, I have always had a love for animals. This love intensified when I began to raise livestock through the FFA in high school. Quickly, I knew this was something I would like to study in college. Living in Texas, there was one school that stood out to me, Texas A&M University.

Texas A&M University has the largest and most complex animal science department in the nation, and I had the pleasure of learning from many nationally recognized professors during my four years studying at Texas A&M University.

My animal science curriculum includes… general animal science | general avian science | wool evaluation and grading | behavior and management of domestic livestock | basic beef cattle production | principles of animal nutrition | reproduction in farm animals | animal feeds and feeding | animal breeding | equine diseases and epidemiology
